Team Triumph!

Friday April 30 to Sun March 2, CSUB hosted Relay for Life. This event allowed everyone in the community of Bakersfield to celebrate the lives of their loved ones that they have lost due to cancer. Team Triumph was one of the teams at the event. This team was made in memory of Cynthia Grubb, who passed away September of last year due to colon cancer. Team Triumph was organized by Cynthia's two daughters, Carla and Crysten Grubb. Both girls' friends joined the team and helped support the effort. The team used a boxing theme to show that they can really kick cancer's butt! Team Triumph in the end raised of $1000 with all their raffle sales and showed that cancer is not match for them!
